Counselling
We believe outside help is imperative for someone to sustain a substance free life. Detox is just the start of a life changing journey. There are many different forms of therapy available, from cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psycho-dynamic and person centred being the most common used for addiction. Our counsellors are all in recovery and pride themselves on being non-judgmental and confidential when it comes to working with clients.
Addiction services doesn’t just offer a medical detox, it also has packages on counselling sessions too if the person involved is favourably detoxed and befogged before beginning this process, these sessions can be arranged in the comfort of your own home via zoom should it be required.
Family intervention
It is important in most cases for an outside person or persons to help a family member to decide that they need help. This is because addiction comes with denial, anger and fear. In some cases the family member becomes an enabler.
Trauma
